Since 1974, our monthly bulletin has given independent-minded readers behind-the-scenes insight into significant news ignored by the corporate media. We report on major issues of the day and strip it of spin-control distortions. In concise and fact-packed reports, our editor and other expert contributors forecast and analyze the doings of Congress, the White House, Wall Street, the Supreme Court, and crucial issues in states across the nation and internationally. For those fed up with media superficiality, we offer insightful commentary on issues of war and peace, the environment, religion, education, law, and economics. Over the years, The Washington Spectator has stood consistently—and persistently—for human rights, international peace, and civil liberties, and for an open, accountable government.
The Washington Spectator is a project of The Public Concern Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational foundation.
